Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
