Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
