Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
