Behold, Moses said to his attendant, "I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travel." 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge. 65 Moses said unto him: "May I follow thee on the understanding that thou wilt impart to me something of that consciousness of what is right which has been imparted to thee?" 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?" 68 Moses replied: "You shall find me, if Allah wills, patient; and I shall not disobey you in anything." 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
