One day We shall call together all human beings with their (respective) Imams: those who are given their record in their right hand will read it (with pleasure), and they will not be dealt with unjustly in the least. 71 And whoever is blind in this, he shall (also) be blind in the hereafter; and more erring from the way. 72 And surely they had purposed to turn you away from that which We have revealed to you, that you should forge against Us other than that, and then they would certainly have taken you for a friend. 73 and had We not confirmed thee, surely thou wert near to inclining unto them a very little; 74 Had you done so, We would certainly have made you face double punishment in this life and after your death and you would have found none to help you. 75 Their purpose was to scare thee off the land, in order to expel thee; but in that case they would not have stayed (therein) after thee, except for a little while. 76 (This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways. 77
