Do you not see that Allah is He Whom do glorify all those who are in the heavens and the earth, and the (very) birds with expanded wings? He knows the prayer of each one and its glorification, and Allah is Cognizant of what they do. 41 And unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah is the journeying. 42 Hast thou not seen how Allah wafteth the clouds, then gathereth them, then maketh them layers, and thou seest the rain come forth from between them; He sendeth down from the heaven mountains wherein is hail, and smiteth therewith whom He will, and averteth it from whom He will. The flashing of His lightning all but snatcheth away the sight. 43 He alternates the day and the night: there is indeed a lesson in it for those who have observing eyes. 44 Allah has created every [living] creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. 45 We have surely sent down clear signs. It is God who guides whom He will to the path that is straight. 46 They say they believe in God and the Prophet, and have come to believe, yet a section of them turns back even after this; and these are not believers. 47 When they are called to God and His Messenger so that they will judge among them, suddenly, some of them turn away. 48 And if the judgement is in their favour, they come towards it willingly. 49 Is it that there is a disease in their hearts? or do they doubt, or are they in fear, that Allah and His Messenger will deal unjustly with them? Nay, it is they themselves who do wrong. 50
