▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone upon the earth will perish, 26 Yet the Face of your Lord will abide forever, Majestic and Splendid. 27 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 28 All those there are in the heavens and the earth turn to Him with solicitation, intent on His purpose all the time. 29 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 30 Anon We shall direct Ourselves to you, O ye two classes. 31 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 32 O society of jinns and men, cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability, then pass beyond them; but you cannot unless you acquire the law. 33 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 34 Flames of fire and molten copper shall be loosed against you, and you shall not be helped. 35 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 36 (What will happen) when the heaven will be split asunder and will become crimson like leather? 37 O which of our Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 38 on that day none shall be questioned about his sin, neither man nor jinn. 39 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 42 This is the hell which the guilty called a lie. 43 They will keep circling around between Hell and boiling water. 44 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 45
