Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes). 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 Those shall be rewarded with the highest apartment, because they persevered; and therein they shall be met with a greeting and salutation. 75 Therein they shall dwell forever; fair it is as a lodging-place and an abode. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
