The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
