The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
