The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
