The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
