The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
