Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 who know what you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
