۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
