۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
