۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
