۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
