۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
