And (make mention of) the day when the enemies of Allah are gathered unto the Fire, they are driven on 19 till, when they come close to it, their hearing and their sight and their [very] skins will bear witness against them, speaking of what they were doing [on earth]. 20 They will say to their skins: "Why bear ye witness against us?" They will say: "Allah hath given us speech,- (He) Who giveth speech to everything: He created you for the first time, and unto Him were ye to return. 21 And you did not try to hide [your sins] lest your hearing or your sight or your skins bear witness against you: nay, but you thought that God did not know much of what you were doing 22 And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you have become among the losers." 23 Even if they are patient, their abode is Hell; and if they beg for favour, none will favour them. 24 ۞ We assigned for them companions who would make their past and present (deeds) seem attractive to them. Thus, they became subject to what the jinn and human beings before were destined to suffer. They were certainly lost. 25
