Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
