The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
