The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
