[AND] the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 176 When Shu'aib (Shuaib) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah (and obey Him)? 177 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 178 Have fear of God and obey me. 179 I ask of you no reward for this. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ "Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). 181 weigh with an even balance 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful." 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 Then they belied him; wherefore there laid hold of them the torment of day of shadow. Verily it was the torment of a Mighty Day. 189 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 190 your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 191

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
