Alshu'araa' 11 of 11
Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down; 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved? 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 So of what benefit will be the comforts that they were using? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 For reminder, for We never were oppressors. 209 And the Shaitans have not come down with it. 210 nor does it behove them, nor does it lie in their power. 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin, 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 and say things which they do not act upon, 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
