Alshu'araa' 11 of 11
And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 Which the True Spirit hath brought down 193 Upon your heart, for you to convey warning. 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue 198 and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue,] they would not have believed in it. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 and they will say, 'Shall we be respited?' 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 So call not upon another god with Allah, lest you be of those who are punished. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 and lower your wing to the believers who follow you. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up (to pray) 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 And how they say that which they do not? 226 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. 227
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
