The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 Therefore put your trust in Allah, for you are upon a clear truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
