In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 For the living and the dead. 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
