And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to pass against them, We shall bring forth for them a creature from the earth that shall wound them, because people did not believe in Our communications. 82
