۞ When the example of Mary's son is quoted before them, your people cry out at it, 57 And say: "Are our deities better or he?" They say this only for disputing. Surely they are a contentious people. 58 He (Prophet Jesus) was only a worshiper whom We favored and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. 59 Had We wanted, We could have made the angels as your successors on the earth. 60 And verily he is a sign of the Hour wherefore dubitate not thereof, and follow Me: this is the straight path. 61 Let not Satan bar you; he is for you a manifest foe. 62 NOW WHEN Jesus came [to his people] with all evidence of the truth, he said: "I have now come unto you with wisdom, and to make clear unto you some of that on which you are at variance: hence, be conscious of God, and pay heed unto me. 63 Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him.
