The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
