Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 And most surely it is a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
