Al-Ankaboot 7 of 7
The present life is nothing but sport and amusement. The true life is in the Abode of the Hereafter; if only they knew. 64 When they embark in the ships they call upon Allah, consecrating their faith to Him. But when He rescues them and brings them to land, they suddenly begin to associate others with Allah in His Divinity 65 And thus they may show utter ingratitude for Our favours; let them enjoy themselves for a time. But they will soon come to know. 66 Did they not observe that We have created a refuge in the Sacred Land, and people around them are snatched away? So do they believe in falsehood and are ungrateful for the favours of Allah? 67 And who does greater evil that he who forges a lie against Allah or belied the truth when it comes to him! Is there not a lodging in Gehenna for the unbelievers? 68 We will surely guide in Our ways those who strive hard for Our cause, God is surely with the righteous. 69
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
