▼ 29 The Spider
Al-Ankaboot 7 of 7
And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew. 64 And when they mount upon the ships they pray to Allah, making their faith pure for Him only, but when He bringeth them safe to land, behold! they ascribe partners (unto Him), 65 Disdaining ungratefully Our gifts, and giving themselves up to (worldly) enjoyment! But soon will they know. 66 Do they not see that We have made a sacred territory secure, while men are carried off by force from around them? Will they still believe in the falsehood and disbelieve in the favour of Allah? 67 And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a [sufficient] residence for the disbelievers? 68 And those who strive in Our (cause),- We will certainly guide them to our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right. 69
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
