And recite to them the news of Ibrahim. 69 [how it was] when he asked his father and his people, "What is it that you worship?" 70 They said, "We worship idols and will continue to cling to them." 71 Said he: "Do [you really think that] they hear you when you invoke them, 72 or can they benefit or harm you?" 73 They said: Nay, we found our fathers doing so. 74 He said: Have you then considered what you have been worshipping: 75 You and your ancient forefathers? 76 "For they are enemies to me; not so the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds; 77 Who created me and Who guides me; 78 And Who feedeth me and watereth me. 79 And when I am sick, then He restores me to health 80 He will cause me to die and will bring me back to life. 81 and who, [hope, will forgive me my faults on Judgment Day! 82 My Lord, give me judgment, and join me with the righteous. 83 “And give me proper fame among the succeeding generations.” 84 and place me among those who shall inherit the garden of bliss! 85 “And forgive my father* – he is indeed astray.” (His paternal uncle) 86 and do not disgrace me on the Day when all people are resurrected, 87 The Day whereon will profit neither substance nor sons. 88 Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free (from evil). 89 And Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous. 90 And hell will be revealed for the astray. 91 And it shall be said to them: Where are those that you used to worship; 92 "'Besides Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?' 93 They will then be thrown into Hell with those who had gone astray 94 And all the armies of Iblis. (Satan) 95 "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: 96 they will say, "By God, we were in clear error 97 When we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. 98 "'And our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt. 99 so now we have no intercessors, 100 Nor any loving friend. 101 Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers... " 102 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 103 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 104

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
