Mischief has appeared on land and sea because of (the meed) that the hands of men have earned, that (Allah) may give them a taste of some of their deeds: in order that they may turn back (from Evil). 41 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Travel in the land and see what was the end of those before (you)! Most of them were Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc.)." 42 So set your face towards the straight path before the day arrives from God which is irreversible. Men will be segregated on that day. 43 Whosoever disbelieveth, on him is his infidelity, and those who work righteously are preparing for themselves. 44 That He may reward those who believe and do good out of His grace; surely He does not love the unbelievers. 45 And of His Signs is that He sends winds to herald good tidings and that He may give you a taste of His Mercy, and that ships may sail at His bidding, and you may seek His Bounty and give thanks to Him. 46 Indeed, We sent before thee Messengers unto their people, and they brought them the clear signs; then We took vengeance upon those who sinned; and it was ever a duty incumbent upon Us, to help the believers. 47 It is God who sends the winds to raise the clouds. He spreads them in the sky as He wants, then He intensifies them, and then you can see the rain coming down from the cloud. When He sends it down upon whichever of His servants He wants, they rejoice 48 Though they were before this, before it was sent down upon them, confounded in sure despair. 49 Look then at the effects of Allah's mercy: what wise He quickeneth the earth after the death thereof. Verily, He is the Quickener of the dead, and He is over everything Potent. 50 But if We were to send a wind and then their tilth has become yellow, they would never cease to disbelieve. 51 So verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they turn away in flight. 52 You cannot guide the straying blind. You can make no one listen except those who believe in Our revelations and are Muslims. 53
