The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
