Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Alif-Lam-Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book is, without doubt, from the Lord Of The Creation. 2 Will they say: he hath fabricated it? Aye! it is the truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest warn therewith a people unto whom no warner came before thee, that haply they may be guided. 3 Allah it is He Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them in six Days. Then He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). You (mankind) have none, besides Him, as a Wali (protector or helper etc.) or an intercessor. Will you not then remember (or be admonished)? 4 He directs the affair from heaven to earth. Then it will ascend to Him in one day, a day whose value is a thousand years by your reckoning. 5 Such is the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Merciful. 6 He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay, 7 then He fashioned his progeny of an extraction of mean water, 8 Then He fashioned him and breathed into him of His Spirit; and appointed for you hearing and sight and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 9 They have said, "How can we be brought to life again after we have been lost in the earth?" In fact, they have no faith in the Day of Judgment 10 ۞ Say: 'The Angel of Death, who has been given charge of you will gather you then to your Lord you shall be returned' 11
