And indeed We bestowed the Book to Moosa, therefore have no doubt in its acquisition, and made it a guidance for the Descendants of Israel. 23 And We appointed from among them leaders guiding by Our command, when they endured patiently, and had sure faith in Our signs. 24 VERILY, it is God alone who will decide between men on Resurrection Day with regard to all on which they were wont to differ. 25 Did (these historical events) not make them realise that We destroyed many nations before them amidst whose dwellings they now move about? Surely there are many Signs in this. Are they unable to hear? 26 Have they not seen how We lead the water to the barren land and therewith bring forth crops whereof their cattle eat, and they themselves? Will they not then see? 27 They also say, 'When shall be this Victory, if you speak truly?' 28 Say: 'On the Day of Victory their faith shall not profit the unbelievers, nor shall they be respited.' 29 Wherefore turn aside thou from them, and await; verily they are awaiting. 30
