Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
