Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 noble scribes, 11 who know all that you do: 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
