Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 on a straight path, 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
