Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YaSeen. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a straight path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
