Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a straight path; 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
