I swear by that which ye see. 38 And that which ye see not. 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
