Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
