Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
