Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
