Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 pursuing a straight way 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
