When the trumpet is sounded, they will be driven out of their grave into the presence of their Lord. 51 'Woe for us' they will say. 'Who has roused us from our sleepingplace? This is what the Merciful promised; the Messengers have spoken the truth' 52 Nothing will there have been but one single blast - and lo! before Us will all of them be arraigned [and be told]: 53 So this day no soul will be wronged in the least; and you will not be compensated except for your deeds. 54 Indeed this day the dwellers of Paradise are in comfort, with blissful hearts. 55 They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones. 56 Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask; 57 The word from a Merciful Lord (for them) is: Peace! 58 [Then He will say], "But stand apart today, you criminals. 59 ۞ Did I not enjoin on you, O you children of Adam, that you should not worship Satan - since, verily, he is your open foe 60 Did We not command you to worship Me and tell you that this is the straight path?" 61 And indeed he (Satan) did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did you not, then, understand? 62 "This, then, is the hell of which you were warned again and again: 63 Roast in it now for having disbelieved." 64 Today We shall seal up their mouths and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to their misdeeds. 65 If We so willed, We would have put out their eyes, then they would rush to see the Way, but how would they be able to see? 66 If it had been Our will, We could have paralysed them where they stood, so that they would not be able to go forward or turn back. 67
